Orlando Theme Parks

When visiting one of Orlando's theme parks, you can immerse yourself in a completely different world for a day. The parks have been designed with families in mind and offer entertainment for the young and the young at heart.

The Walt Disney World theme parks are the most well known parks. In the Magic Kingdom, you can meet popular Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy and many more. The Epcot theme park focuses on the past as well as on the future. Apart from an interesting ride through the resplendent Epcot sphere, you can also explore different countries of the world while strolling through the park.

The MGM studios offer a look behind the scenes of successful blockbuster movies like "Star Wars" or "Indiana Jones". The street layout allows you to quickly get from one stunt show to the next.

Other famous theme parks in Orlando are Universal Studios and SeaWorld.

Universal Studios complement Disney's MGM Studios. Here, you can also experience scenes and shows from popular movies like "Spiderman", "Shrek" or the movie classic "Jaws". The adjacent "Island of Adventure" offers once-in-a-lifetime thrills with countless roller coasters and thrill rides.

SeaWorld in Orlando is a huge theme park that features a variety of marine animals. Seals, dolphins and whales star in a variety of shows that are both entertaining and educational.

At dusk, almost all parks feature special stunt or light shows, which should not be missed. Those who'd rather start off their evening more slowly should visit Church Street Station in downtown Orlando. Church Street offers saloons, bars and restaurants, and, of course, lots of entertainment.

For an extensive shopping trip, take a trip to International Drive in Orlando.
